Wordless Wednesday- 50 Shades of Pink

Spring is the most beautiful time of the year in Bucks County, Pa.
The weather is finally warmer, the flowers are budding everywhere, and people are out and abound.

I took some beautiful shots of the colorful flowers all around my neighborhood.
These peonies are in front of my house

This is a neighbor's house- the rhododendrons almost cover the house

    1. Birgitta,
We are so fortunate to live in the suburbs this time of the year where everyone has planted flowers

  8. Judee,

WOW, amazing blooms! The Rhododendron bushes are massive and so beautiful. Not far from Knoxville there’s a place that’s world renown for it’s Rhododendron gardens at Roan Mountain State Park. It’s very close to the western North Carolina state line. We used to visit there all the time then about 15 or 20 years ago they required a fee for access to the area. What a major bummer that was, to. Luckily, the Blue Ridge Parkway is another good source for seeing the blooms along the roadsides during the peak season. I hope we get a chance to enjoy them this year. We missed out last year. Thanks for visiting today!

  10. I must not be looking in the right places because I haven't seen any flowers as beautiful as these yet. Nice close ups and wide shot too. The rhododendrons are amazing, they look a bit like lilac bushes.
